Abstract Submission
The extended abstract should be no more than 500 words and must describe the aims, the investigative approach, and the main conclusions of the work.
The paper should relate to one of the conference themes:
- New performance models and simulation methods: in any building performance domain; and including city and urban scale models; model integration; modelling uncertainty; model for predictive control; and modelling occupant behaviour.
- Procedures for optimizing design and operation: including methods for sensitivity analysis and numerical optimization; procedures for multi-criterion decision making; user-interface design and solution visualization; and methods for optimal control.
- Real-world case studies: including, the use of simulation in the design of real buildings; the use of simulation in commissioning and control of real buildings; the use of simulation in compliance testing of a real buildings; the comparison of simulated and built performance.
The deadline for the submission of abstracts is Monday 5 December 2011.
Paper Submission
Instructions for formatting and submitting a paper to BSO12 are given in the paper template document. Note that: papers must be no more than 8 pages long; must conform to the prescribed paper format; and must be submitted as a PDF document. Authors must also accept the Copyright Transfer and Disclaimer agreement.
The deadline for the submission of the paper is Monday 19 March 2012.
